Congressman Daniel Webster announced support today from REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), the political arm of the National Association of REALTORS®, following a recommendation from the Florida REALTORS® PAC. In a statement, Florida REALTORS® President Matey Veissi cited Congressman Webster’s hard work to not only help Floridians pursue the dream of homeownership but also his exceptional leadership over the years as the reasons for their support.
"Dan Webster has been a solid friend of REALTORS® and homeowners. He knows the value of financing options like the VA and FHA programs and has been working to find solutions to our flood insurance problems,” said Veissi.
“I have every confidence Congressman Webster will continue to work each day to ensure REALTORS® have a voice in Congress,” continued Veissi.
The National Association of REALTORS® was founded in 1908 and is America’s largest trade association with approximately 1.1 million members including NAR’s five commercial real estate institutes and its societies and councils. REALTORS® are involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries and belong to one or more of some 1,400 local associations or boards, and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS®.
Congressional District 11 was created by the Florida Supreme Court in 2015. It includes parts of Lake and Marion, as well as Hernando, Citrus and Sumter counties. Webster has represented more than a quarter of District 11 during his time in Congress.
